The European Center for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments will hold, in collaboration with the Theological School of Chalki, a Symposium on the theme: ” Ποιμαίνειν ἐν κήποις, καὶ συλλέγειν κρίνα: Nature, countryside and gardens as places of production and artistic inspiration of the Byzantines”, on Sunday afternoon September 25, 2022, in the School’s Ceremony Hall.
The Symposium is organized following the proposal of the Abbot of the Monastery of Agia Triada, Theoph. Bishop of Arabissos, Mr. Kassianos to coordinate joint scientific activities with the Theological School of Chalki, with the aim to highlight the connection between environment and culture.
