Creation of a multimedia electronic disc (CD) in the framework of the Programme Information Society “ Anna Komnene: Creation and Promotion of Electronic Multilingual Editions and Information Portal on Monuments of the Byzantine Period”.

The CD entitled “Byzantine monuments in the Information Society” presents byzantine monuments documented and recorded in the ΕΚΒΜΜ database in the framework of the above programme. Through an interactive map, the user has the possibility to select one of the monuments located on the active areas of the map and to collect information accompanied with images and plans. It also includes articles of the scientific work team, the contributors of the project and bibliographic references.
